Old Plank Road Trail | Frankfort, IL

The Old Plank Road Trail provides over 20 miles of a picturesque bike path connecting Joliet, New Lenox, Frankfort, Matteson, Richton Park, Park Forest, and Chicago Heights. This trail winds through Frankfort and provides access to the historic downtown district. Lenox Hill Construction’s affiliation to this project has aided in successful events and festivals held in downtown Frankfort throughout the year. Construction of bathroom facilities and all new plumbing, an overhanging pavilion, and renovation to bike path and entrance way was all successfully completed in 2006.
